SpatialLabs for ConceptD : Acer's 3D Creator Experience

SpatialLabs is the package of experiences that will especially appeal to those specialized in 3D creations. Some of the main features are eye tracking, stereoscopic 3D display, and real-time rendering technologies. 

This means that the stereo camera on the top of the device will be able to track the position and movement of the user's head and eyes. The content will "float" in front of the screen thanks to that 3D effect resulting from the combination of all the technology that this package presents. 

You will be able to create in 3D outside the screen

This is a totally revolutionary way of working for those who create content in 3D since SpatialLabs gives creators the opportunity to see in real time how their projects would look in real life thanks to this 3D effect. 

 

This means that with a single sketch you can see the design you are working on in 360 degrees. It can be rotated, rotated and even dragged off the screen to appreciate any detail from any angle. 

Stereoscopic 3D creations are viewed in a 1: 1 ratio and, thanks to the ability to change the HDRI background, the designed element can be seen in the space for which it is intended. 

The SpatialLabs laptop

The ConceptD SpatialLabs laptop is the one that will integrate all the 3D technology explained, however, you can also use it as a normal 2D laptop. This device is at the moment a prototype, but hopefully we will be able to see it at some point in our stores. 

When you open the SpatialLabs Experience Center option, you will be able to access different apps and installers for programs and add-ons such as SpatialLabs Model Viewer, to import files in 3D format or SpatialLabs Go to render full-screen content in parallel in stereoscopic 3D, among many others.
